Commissioned to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the dispute and the impact on Birmingham's Asian community due to their heavy involvement in the Grunwick dispute. The mura also immortalises the courageous stand taken by Jayaben Desai and her fellow workers at the Grunwick factory in 1976, the mural serves as a visual testament to their struggle for dignity and justice.

The mural, expertly crafted by renowned Pakistani truck artist Haider Ali, captures the essence of the Grunwick Dispute with vivid strokes and vibrant colors. Ali's dedication to the project, spanning five weeks of meticulous work, is evident in every brushstroke, as he brings to life the emotions, passion, and history surrounding the strike.
