Capsule will pilot a series of online Supersonic Kids Gigs.
Ex Cathedra - £4,000
Ex Cathedra’s Academy of Vocal Music aims to bring the many well-being benefits of singing to c. 80 children and young people aged 4 upwards through a programme of regular rehearsals and performances in prestigious venues across the city.
Women and Theatre - £3,000
Women & Theatre will relaunch its youth theatre, Word Lounge Theatre Company in January 2021; increasing its capacity to provide impactful and accessible arts provision for Looked After young people, Young Carers, and young people with additional educational needs.
Rosie Kay Dance Company - £3500
Rosie Kay Dance Company will create a new version of ‘Romeo & Juliet’ set in present-day Birmingham.

Heritage
Birmingham Botanical Gardens - £2,000
The project will preserve Birmingham’s most famous bandstand for future generations. Work involves restoring the building fabric and improving public access to safeguard its historical and social value and increase capacity for musical events, community activities and outdoor learning.
Chamberlain Highbury Trust - £2,000
The Highbury Rhododendron Project, stage two is a three year project to augment and conserve the historic rhododendron collection of the statesman, Joseph Chamberlain, in the grounds of Highbury, Moseley, Birmingham, laid out in 1879.

Open Spaces
Lapal Canal Trust - £2,000
First stage of the Dudley No 2 Canal restoration project in Selly Oak; building a Winding Hole for boats to turn and enter the soon to be restored canal.
Warley Woods Community Trust - £650
Purchase of a new brushcutter to enable staff and volunteer teams to maintain Warley Woods.
